Qualtrics: "Access Forbidden" error message


Issue:

If you log in to Qualtrics and before the home page fully loads you receive a “Forbidden” error message:

Action:

This error occurs when a browser is trying to open a previously cashed session. The fix is to clear your cache & cookies or open Qualtrics in an Incognito/Private window.

What if this doesn't fix the issue?

Contact Qualtrics for assistance by following these steps:

  1. Go to Qualtrics Support.
  2. Click Contact Support in the top right
  3. Click Sign in with SSO
  4. 
Enter tufts for the organization ID and click Continue.
  5. Log in with your Tufts username and password

  6. Click Get Technical Support
  7. 
Choose Survey Platform
  8. Scroll down to choose a support method (email, chat, or call)
