When tax information (e.g. a W2 form) is available:
- For current or former employees who consented to electronic delivery of their W2s, posted to Employee Self Service (eServe).
- For current or former employee did not consent to the electronic delivery of their W2s, it has been mailed to the address on file in eServe.
How to Access your W2 in Employee Self Service (eServe)
- Go to eServe and select the orange Open button
- Once on the Employee Self Service login page, enter your Tufts username and password
- On the landing page, click on the drop-down menu at the top of the page and select Employee Self Service (if not already defaulted to Employee Self Service)
- Click on Payroll & Compensation
- Click on W-4, W-2, W-2 Consent, 1095-C Consent
- Click on View W-2/W-2c Forms
- Click on the Year End Form link to view/print your W-2
Troubleshooting Tips
- Make sure you are allowing pop-ups
- Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the most compatible browsers
Former Employees
- Former employees should have access to eServe. If you have consented to electronic delivery of your W-2, you will be able to see your W-2 in eServe. You do NOT need to be on VPN to access eServe.
- If you need to change your password:
- If you know your previous password, you can change your password on TuftsTools.
- If you do not know your previous password, you will need to speak with Tufts Technology Services (TTS).
- If you enrolled in 2FA prior to leaving Tufts:
- If the same cell phone is in use, you should still have access.
- If you have a new cell phone, you will need to contact Tufts Technology Services (TTS).
- Former employees only have access to eServe through the tax season of the year following FOLLOWING their separation from the University.
- For example, employees who separated from the University in 2023 will be able to access their W2s through May of 2024.
- After that period, former employees should contact TSS directly to get tax forms from prior years.
